BIO
SLOW. HEAVY. INTROSPECTIVE.
Kult Ikon merges post-metal ambiance and pure doom thunder, as heard in their recent singles, “Circle Birds,” as well as in, “Lost Sea” – which was featured on, The Weedian Compilation, Trip to North Carolina (2022). The Raleigh-based trio rises and falls over moody, cathartic overtones with their signature fusing of crushing riffs with serene soundscapes.
The highly-anticipated full album, Black Iron Prison (March 2024) – the follow-up to – Sheet Metal Sessions (May 2024), has found critics aligning Kult Ikon with Russian Circles, ISIS, and Cult of Luna.
The Kult Ikon catalog is available in both Vinyl and Digital formats, and is available on the Kult Ikon Bandcamp page.
